For me your name is art, your emotions are art and even your birth date is art.  I see names, words and numbers in colors.  The painting above, for example, is what I see when I hear the name of comedian and late night host “Jay Leno”.  This ability is called synesthesia – meaning I intertwine different sensory experiences .  When I see a name or a combination of numbers such as birthdays I perceive an entire picture that I express through painting.
